Consultations
At times taking the trip to the dietitian's office can be difficult, especially with our busy lives. That is why having a dietitian online allows you to receive expert nutrition advice and support anywhere and anytime which is most convenient for you.
Similar to face-to-face consultations, our online consultations run in the exact same way. The only difference is you will be in a comfortable place and the use of a phone or video consultation platform. The video consultation platform will allow you to see any documents, resources and dietary plans so that we are able to work together.
Initial Consultations (30 minutes)
Conducting a detailed nutrition assessment and getting to know you is the main aim of the initial consultation. This will allow me to provide individualised advice and plans to meet your unique needs and goals.

Pre Consult Assessment
Prior to the initial consultation you will receive a questionnaire via email. This allows me to complete the necessary research required for the initial consult

Assessment
A detailed review of your medical history, medications and supplements will be completed before discussing your dietary intake, food intolerances and preferences as well as lifestyle factors so we can understand the whole picture

Individualised Plan
We will work together to develop a plan of attack which is tailored to your lifestyle and your needs. You will receive an email with the plan and any other relevant resources to assist you in meeting your goals
Review Consultations (30 minutes)
Like any habit, changes can be overwhelming at times. So having a review session will provide you with the ongoing monitoring, support and motivation to help you achieve your goals.

Supporting
Using a variety of tools and resources I will be able to monitor and support your progress

Fine Tuning the Plan
We will discuss the current plan, identify any barriers, create solutions and make any modifications necessary to ensure you can meet your goals

Education
Understanding relevant topics is an important aspect in review consultations. These sessions will educate and empower you into becoming the master of your own health
Medicare Rebates
Your doctor may choose to refer you through an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan if you have a chronic medical condition such as Arthritis, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Hypertension, IBS and more). With the EPC Plan you are able to obtain up to 5 dietitian consultation per calendar year and the rebate for this is $60.35 per consultation. It is best you discuss this with your doctor to see if you are eligible.
Private Health Fund Rebates
Depending on the level of cover, most private health funds will provide a rebate for dietitian consultations. I recommend contacting your private health fund to see if you are entitled to a rebate. There is no doctors referral required if you are claiming the consultations under your private health cover.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, at least 48 hours notice is required.
Payment Policy
Full payment for the consultation is required at the time of the consultation.
